Stuart
Stuart is an accident prone Englishman who has been living in the Netherlands since 2001. Even his move to the country was an unintentional accident, the result of replying to a cryptic job advertisement he found one day in a local British magazine. Since then he has learned to love the Dutch (so much so that he married one of them) and now calls the country home. He started the blog Invading Holland in 2006 as a place to share his strange stories of language misunderstandings, cultural confusions and his own accident prone nature.

Why are you wearing a helmet?
Hmmm… That part is very un-Dutch isn’t it. I had not thought of that.
I love the little duck detail. “Quack.”
It’s his second cameo :)
loving the little flag on the back of the bike, and the duck. once you’ve mastered riding without hands you’ll need to perfect riding holding a bunch of flowers in one hand and talking on your phone with the other. possibly with a large create of beer perched on the back ;)
So far I’ve perfect looking at google maps on my phone but I do cheat and keep one hand on the handle bars.
Bloopers:
The Top and Middle Cartoon has straight handle bars.
The bottom falling off the cliff has inward handle bars.
lol :D
And no flag on the back!
It’s all an optical illusion :p
My dad used to stuff his pipe while riding his bike. But I think since modern bike-frames are lighter than they used to be, riding a bike without using your hands is getting harder.
