And on that note I’ll be on my short annual summer break from blogging for the next few weeks. I’m sure I will bump into a few Dutch people where ever I go.

Stuart is an accident prone Englishman who has been living in the Netherlands since 2001. Even his move to the country was an unintentional accident, the result of replying to a cryptic job advertisement he found one day in a local British magazine. Since then he has learned to love the Dutch (so much so that he married one of them) and now calls the country home. LOL! Yes, it’s true, the Dutch seem to be a very travel loving group of people. I’ve met Dutch people on some of the most remote places on this globe. ;)
But enjoy your holiday, and stay away from BBQ’s!! :D
I was back in Portugal to visit my family when I overheard some Dutch people asking for some info about a museum, right behind me. I turned around and gave them the info they needed, in Dutch. Their faces were priceless!
Yep, we are everywhere (I live in Australia.)
Not long ago I was in the supermarket and an older Dutch couple were chatting away, no doubt believing that no-one understood them. They were cranky about the lack of Dutch products.
I couldn’t resist. So I went up to them and told them where to find dubbelzout drop (in English, my Dutch is very rusty nowadays.)
Their faces were an absolute picture!
Fijne vakantie! Geniet ervan! I thought that the Brazilian people was everywhere, but I was wrong… Dutch people is everywhere, incredible!
